The Democrat “took” the state of Georgia today, while incumbent President Donald Trump was victorious in North Carolina. They were the last two states that were still counted. It is the first time in 28 years that Georgia has voted for the Democratic candidate, CNN reports.

Biden has gained a large majority of 306 electors and won the election by a large margin. He needed a minimum of 270 electors, but he went far beyond that. Donald Trump got 232 electors behind him.
