Trump supporters storm Washington Capitol, National Guard on the way

WASHINGTON – An angry mob of Trump supporters has stormed the Capitol Building in Washington. Shots were fired and a woman was seriously injured. Five other people are said to have been taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. Among them would be an agent. The Republicans got bad news Wednesday: Democrats will be in control of both the House and the Senate through the Georgia election. The protesters believe that election fraud has been committed and that Trump has won the election. The National Guard is on its way to the Capitol.

Trump has called on his supporters to go home in a video message. “I know your pain. I know you are hurt, ”Trump begins his speech. “We had an election that was stolen from us. It was a monster victory. And everyone knows that, especially the other side. But you must go home now. We need peace, ”Trump said. He previously asked the protesters via a Twitter message not to use violence. “WE are the party of law and order.”

The Democratic Group Chairman in the Senate reacted with exasperation to Trump’s request to demonstrate peacefully. “It’s a bit too late for that now, right?” Sneered Chuck Schumer on Twitter.

Joe Biden calls the storm an “attack on democracy,” a “dark moment,” and “a horrific spectacle,” carried out by “a small group of extremists and targeting lawlessness.” What a president says matters, Biden emphasizes: “At best, words can inspire. At worst, words can stir up. ”

Trump supporters have now entered the United States Capitol House of Representatives, American media reports. Images show that a folder is written “WE WILL NOT BACK DOWN”. Pelosi has already been brought to safety himself.
