Brooklyn Nets brought in NBA star James Harden on Thursday. The American comes from Houston Rockets, where he no longer had a good time. The 31-year-old Harden has played with Houston Rockets since 2012 and was named the NBA’s MVP in 2018. For the past three seasons, he has been the most accurate player in the world’s most prestigious basketball league.
Harden has long alluded to a departure from Houston Rockets, which is performing poorly this season. The Rockets only triumphed three times and suffered six losses, putting the team in penultimate place in the Western Conference. The club from Houston initially did not want to cooperate with the departure of the superstar, but has now changed tack.
At the Nets, Harden will be teammate of superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. As part of the deal, a so-called three-team trade, Brooklyn Nets sends Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince to Cleveland. Caris LeVert and Rodions Kurucs make the switch to Houston Rockets, which will have three additional picks in the first round of the NBA draft in the coming years. In the draft, the clubs take turns choosing young players who are not yet playing in the NBA. According to American media, LeVert will be swapped directly by the Rockets for Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo, making it a deal between four teams.
