A judge in Los Angeles has ruled that Britney Spears will remain under guardianship of her father and bankruptcy company Bessemer Trust Co for the time being. So nothing about Britney’s situation will change for the time being.
The singer’s lawyer had asked a judge to give the receivership company full control – thus sidelining her father – while Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, had in turn filed for removal from the company. The judge did not comply with both requests. American media such as Variety and TMZ write that.

Britney’s attorney Samuel Ingham accepts the preliminary outcome. “It is no secret that my client does not want her father as a trustee. The intention is now for both parties to have equal responsibilities, whereby the interests of my client come first. ” Ingham also said Jamie and Bessemer need to agree on budgets and come up with an investment plan.
The case continues on March 17 and April 27, re-hearing Britney Spears’ trusteeship. In November 2020, it was determined that both parties manage the singer’s finances and interests.
