Michael Jordan donates $ 1.67 million of “The Last Dance” to US food banks

to Feeding America.

The organization that embraces 200 food banks in America.

The amount comes from additional proceeds from “The Last Dance,” the Michael Jordan docuseries that became a worldwide hit. “In these challenging times and in this unimaginably difficult year at Covid-19, it is more important than ever to stop and be grateful. I am proud to donate additional proceeds from “The Last Dance” to Feeding America and their food banks in the Carolinas and Chicago to tackle America’s hunger crisis, “said the NBA icon.

A warm act of a man who should not look at a cent more or less. The 57-year-old American was one of the first athletes to become a global marketing product. His salary – a total of 91 million euros in pure wages during his impressive career – was supplemented every year with the most lucrative sponsorship deals. No cat or dog in the world has never heard of the Nike Air Jordan shoes. The deal with Nike now earns Jordan 123 million euros annually. He also has agreements with sports drink manufacturer Gatorade, clothing brand Hanes and card game manufacturer Upper Deck. Today, according to the renowned Forbes, he owns assets of 1.9 billion euros. That makes Jordan the richest retired athlete in the world
